Will check the manual but I was sure it said 5/30 could be used if 0/20 wasn't
available but to change it out asap. Anyone know anything about United oils full synthetic 0/30w API SN with a viscosity index of 162 as I can get this at a very good price but don't know anybody who uses it here. Mine is now supercharged so hence my interest. |

Running Eneos 0w20 at the moment.
I will need to change my oil soon and I might stick with the same oil.

I've been running castrol 5w30 for probabaly 10 months now boosted on e85 with no oil cooler. When my built short block goes in and the power goes up I'll be running brad penn 5w30 for the break in 500 miles, then red line 5w30 from there out. I will be adding an oil cooler as well at that point

0w20-40 based on oil pressure. You want 10psi per 1000rpm. There is no reason to use anything with a thicker cold rating than 0, other than cost. All oils are too thick to lubricate engines effectively until they reach operating temperature. |

Unless it never gets below 32* where you are and your best option for an oil only comes in 10w30
