Can you get a closer pic of how much stretch? I am getting these exact wheels and tires, just deciding on color and tire size.

Will do, but I don't really know if it's really 'stretched'. I mean an 8" wheel is just over 203 mm wide OUTSIDE the beads. Its safe enough the assembly can be laid on the ground without the rim making contact with the pavement...

Sure, I bought the 8s so I can 1- have better offset, and 2- have headroom to bump up in the future... But I stayed with the 215s because I wanted to keep the rotational mass low, and I didn't want to compromise the ride with a smaller sidewall to offset the width while maintaining the OE overall diameter. Now if I were racing this, I'd be on 245s in a heartbeat

Needs moar height! j/k

I like the way that looks. Almost looks like it's factory stock and goes well with the color.

Yeah, It's a big issue, isn't it? More than I anticipated. :/ I am eyeballing WHAT lowering kit to go with... Considering Eibach, but thanks to this site's users, I see examples on their ProKit, and, while I originally thought 1" would suffice, I am now thinking 1.25 to 1.5"... Wanna find that stance that looks good, but isn't too detrimental to ride quality!

But that is a conversation for another thread... I am jacking my own thread!

I'd propably go with the8x17 +35 offset. Would they also fit without problems in the wheel house or do they come too far out? What do you think?

As long as the quality of the wheels are good for your driving then that's all that matters. I'm at the same point as you and won't be able to lower my car for a month or two. Your wheels make the car look great just the way it is now.

Another 13mm outboard? In the rear, no problem but personally I don't know if I'd go that far in the front without making dame sure I got some decent neg. camber into the alignment.

I know people running 9"s in competition (with likely the same exterior face runout as an 8" @35 offset), but the only way they'd clear is after installing coilovers or crashbolts to get over 1.5 degrees of neg. camber...

Not first-hand knowledge there, but second-hand.

I absolutely love these wheels. Your car looks amazing with them. Quick question for you, or anyone else who may know.

I plan to track my car, and run 245/40/17 Hankook RS3s. Do you know if this tire would fit on this wheel (same offset) without any rubbing? Would I have issues later, if I lower it 1" via new springs or coilovers?

Thanks!
