P0102 Mass or Volume Air Flow Circuit Low Input

Hey everyone,

I've been fighting the P0102 error code and I'm trying to figure out what to try next.

The problem started with water that got in my intake. I have the FBM base stage 1 kit and i took all my piping apart and dried it out.

Code came up after the drying. I thought water had burnt out the maf sensor so I ordered a new one.

Installed it, code still there. Noticed the white wire on the plug going to the sensor was loose. It pulled right off.

So i had a buddy help me solder it back in.

Code still there.

Can't think of what it could be.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Hi! Did you sort this out already?
My case (same CEL code) was the rubber seal of the main motor harness, located near the battery. After the engine was installed back, i had the same P0102 and i started with changing AFR sensor first, what didnot cure CEL. Don't rememeber exactly how i found the bug in harness, but it was the reason of the lost signal from AFT to ECU. The harness' rubber seal just got swollen because of some silicone lubricant or cleaning spray used for the purpose of freshing the harness up
So now i removed rubber seal out of the harnes and waiting till it fully dried up in ordder to install it back. It works fine without the seal though. Very strange compound used for makin the seal of that harness...
Check your harness, mate!

I learned that the white wire leading to my maf sensor was broken. Replaced the wire and all is good.
