Rubbing issues

I have been trying to go through the forums looking for the answer to my questions and I will readily admit that I am not very good at searching the forums. I am trying to decide on a tire size that I will not have issues with.

I am on stock suspension(for probably the next year). I want to do a little bit of road coursing and it is my dd. I originally wanted to get 235/40/17 but the sizes seem to be a bit harder to get. I am thinking about adjusting that size to 245/40/17 but am concerned with rubbing issues with my new rims.

my rims are 17x8 offset +35.

So the setup I want is: 17x8 +35 with 235/40/17
The setup I am thinking about now: same rims 245/40/17

Any insight would really help. Also This is probably my first post on actualy technical question so please be gentle. Thanks.

that size will be fine. you only start getting close with 45et 17x9.

im running 17x9 45et 245/40/17 and had no issues on stock suspension with lower springs and -.5 degrees of camber.
