Thank you, I've know that everything price wise will rise and fall at demand, it's just some of the prices that have gone up (that I've seen more then double) which is why I started this entire thread lol, basically just to bitch about the parts that have gone way up and also to see and get advice on shopping around

The wing has always been $2,600. You must have found a knock off originally.

I don't know what you are talking about or what sites you use, but the parts I see for the FRS remain the same unless there is a sale. I've had a long wish list of parts that I am slowly checking off one by one for the last like 18 months and prices have remained the same for the most part. Definitely do not see a rise at all.

Ohh, and just a little bit of poking around and I was able to determine that this increase in the price of body kits has been going on for quite some time.

Please sell the FRS and put the wing on your saturn. We don't want to be associated with the "ermagherd, let's drive 120mph" mentality. Kthx.

Wow......some of you are ****s lol.

You guys realize that forum or not, people will put these things on these cars. So, instead of being rude about it, maybe just point out facts and leave it alone?

In reality, most of the things on everyones car is there cause they want it, not because of need or usefulness.

Those rims you bought? Make the car ride rougher or effect performance cause of weight.

That sub? Adds weight and services no real purpose except that you like what it does.

Your lip kit? For most of us, its the same as adding a damn spoiler. It does nothing in most cases.

Good luck on your part hunt OP.

I know a lot of manufactures are starting to monitor their MAP policies and enforce them hardcore. Now that does not justify a 2k raise in price, however I am not familiar with that company but I can not imagine the wing costing 2600 that is absurd....I would look into a different site and if all else fails check out ebay or amazon the idiot 3p sellers over there will drive the price down a penny at a time until they are nearly at break even on the part (if it is popular and has many people selling it)

The real asshole is the guy driving 120 mph on roadways. If we make him feel like an idiot for doing that, and he stops, then we've accomplished something. If not, at least we've tried.

We will wait for Koa's official post scores but I say 10/10 on both these!

I've own my scion frs since August now, and I finally have saved up enough to start spending on small mods. The Yen has depreciated in value against the Dollar over the last year, so your pricing reasoning is not valid.

The only plausable explanation is that the $500-900 wing you were looking at was a copy, not the real wing.
