I definitely don't disagree. I can't believe people have found such a niche to profit from, but it works for them. Don't fix what isn't broken, right? Until this strategy stops working, they will exploit just as any other business does

The funny thing about the Youtubers opining on the next gen twins is that they have no extra info that anyone else with a functioning internet connection doesn’t already have. If they had actual inside sources of info, at least they’d be bringing something new to the table. But they literally just churn over the clickbaity speculation that has already done the rounds on the forums days earlier. “Comment, like, subscribe,” my a$$. Just because they have a camera and an opinion, doesn’t mean the world owes them a living through YT revenue.

Just buy a 1st gen 2017+ and you'll have one of the most reliable sports cars for years to come.

The poor Civic Type R can’t catch a break It might be considered the greatest car on the planet if it was attractive?! I agree on your other points. Personally I think the FRS/86/BRZ are very attractive cars. I’m a little biased towards the Zenki models, but the refreshed twins look awesome also. Especially when they are slightly lowered. I even like the stock wheels. I always look back at my car, and I know that means Toyota and Subaru got it right. I have confidence the 2nd gen won’t stray too far from the 1st gen. This has all the signs of being a major update instead of clean sheet all new. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Ha!! Well it doesn’t have to be RWD to run circles around everything else in its price range. Not to mention it’s ability to be a great daily driver. The polarizing styling is its main drawback for most people. I’ve always like its aggressive look, it fits its purpose. I know Honda and Toyota have slightly different approaches to car building, I just really appreciate the love and attention to detail Honda puts in their Type R cars. Yea, I’m one of those people that would take a 200hp RWD car over a 300hp FWD car any day. I just can’t stand the way a FWD car feels when you put the power down in a curve. |

I had a Mazdaspeed3 for a while. Lots of fun, practical car and faster than my 86, but I love the 86 so much more - mostly because its RWD. Low CG, balanced handling, RWD wins for me. Other people have other things they love - that's ok. |
