Kinda wish I went with a Raceseng myself. I bought the Perrin earlier this year , and the sticker (yes, the logo/shift pattern is a sticker) glue has already melted in the Arizona heat.

We've been discussing internally about offering our stainless steel hybrid core as an open source platform for 3D printing your own cover.
Would you be interested in working with us on this? If so, please send me an email info@raceseng.com Thanks! |

So I tried to realign the slammer shift knob since it sort of twists when I grip the knob too hard. The thread lock and adapter both are stuck inside the knob. Anyone with any ideas or experience on getting them out so I can align it again correctly?

I currently have a MOMO Race Air Leather knob on my Lancer. I like the look of the metal with perforated leather, and I like the feel of a big round topped knob. But the knob is aluminum and hollow, so it doesn't have the weight of something solid that feels great in my hand and through the shifts.
Black Forest Industries makes a knob that is weighted (not as heavy as other brands), but has the same look as the MOMO with cool replaceable coins. Sadly, they specialize in German cars only, so they don't make an adapter that works with the BRZ. After 48 pages of discussion on shift knobs, and checking the internet, I have to say the Raceseng seems to be a great knob. I would be leaning towards the black Topologi, but I have to say that the bare Ashiko is gorgeous. The only thing holding me back is the idea of finding a weighted shift knob that comes leather wrapped like the Black Forest Industries. I emailed them to know if other adapters are in the works, or if they think other company's adapters might fit their knob. No reply so far. Raceseng: Any plans to offer a leather wrapped option down the road? |
