So, I'm not new, but kind of new, but... I'll a-splain.

I made this account back when Toyobarus first came out. I had a 2010 Nissan 370z at the time, which I then later replaced with a Z06 corvette, then a motorcycle... Long time later, my STi died on the dyno, I replaced it with this 2020 BRZ back in September.

So, while this account is not new, I haven't been on this site in years and am a new BRZ owner

New member in Colorado. I've been watching the local 86 Cup members tear it up at the Colorado Front Range tracks for a few years now. My last track car was a '17 Shelby GT350R that I recently sold. Prior to that, I had a Spec Z 350Z race car, an E46 M3 time trial car, and an Audi RS4 (to this day, the best street car I have ever owned.)
I did my first Circuit of the Americas WRL race in December in a BRZ owned by another party. I have planned WRL races this year at Road Atlanta and at my home track, High Plains Raceway, in the same car.
I'm looking at getting my own 86 car specifically for track use. I'm debating whether to pull the trigger soon so I have a car for this year, or wait till fall or later to let COVID-19 run its course and save up for track mods.
In any case, looking forward to collaborating with like-minded members and mixing it up at the track (some Colorado members are looking at heading west to Thunderhill and possibly Laguna Seca for 86 Cup events some time this year-it would be awesome to have a car by then to do that!)

Edit: found a 2020 86 that's perfectly suited for my needs! 86 base, no options. Let the mods begin.
