Auto-off dome light
This is the second time I've drained the battery with leaving the dome light on my 2017 86. Does anyone know if there is a good way to make this turn off after a while?
What I noticed btw is the headlights have auto-off when on auto position, where simply locking with remote will trigger a timer, and another press to turn off the lights. I wonder if there are some signals that can be used for controlling dome lights.. |

Dome light can be put on Door mode. Move/slide the switch to Door and you won't have any issue after locking the car as it will switch off after like 10 seconds.
Also change the bulb to a led one. Problem solved. |

Led is your answer. I left it on the whole day then drove away like nothing happened.

First thing I've done in my last few cars is turn the dome light off. It's attracts bugs in the summer time and I hate bugs more than anything.
