The standard run of UK BRZs probably are more "limited" then any of the ones pictured..

Im still upset that as far as subaru based we didnt get an "S209" or something special package. the highest performance we got was a BRZ TS, which I guess can be akin to the 14R scion.

I also wish the hakone came with the performance package. that woulda been rad.

( says the guy who bought two white 86s...)
Yeah, in Japan it came with it. The guy who was in charge to bring it US said "at least it comes with arm rest." SMH

UK had CS V-3 right? Sadly US never came with those cool ones.

No, I'm talking about the standard BRZ models. When I last looked about 800units had been sold since release date. The GT86 is a different story as they have sold a lot more.. This was due to an agreement between Toyota and Subaru..

All depends on how you plan to use it I guess. I do not need nor want big brakes or performance struts. If the Hakone had the option of getting it with or without them I would go without. For a daily driver street car that will never make use of them it is just costly bling.

All it takes is one good smack to peen a race. Then it's just a matter of time. Do you have camber plates or anything that could feed a metal-to-metal shock back into the hub. I agree that it is really strange.

Yes, I do. But my setup up until recently was pretty standard autoX/track setup.

Are your spherical bearings in good shape? Tight?

Every morning I cross like 10 expansion joints on the Columbia bridge. The concrete in the wheel tracks is eroded at the the joints leaving a sharp transition. I am glad to have elastomeric top hats.

Yes, they are good. No knocking over bumps. I did just change out my entire suspension setup including the top hats though.

I am wondering if it is brake dust contamination wearing away at the seals. It should be fairly obvious if that is the case as the grease will be cakey.
