Other than the running lights, they look the same. I'd assume they are both LED projectors.

loved that they went black mirrors as standard

also love that profile too!

car looks really great in red and white!

also love that they kept the 86 logo!

the front definitely has that refined european , cleaner shapes and lines look about it which is pretty cool1

Looks like the interior illumination kit both of mine had. First had blue lighting pods in the foot wells, second had red pods.

Also, did they flock/wrap the cluster hood from factory? Because the cluster reflection on the windshield was one of my very few complaints about gen 1.

Nothing new we haven't seen, but I like the FRS-like GR86 over the smiley-face BRZ this time, but I like my BRZ better than both. I might have to steal the 2.4L engine.

The engine update is what I’d take and add to my baby as well. Idk I like the looks of the 1st gen better. I’m already plotting on updating the interior once things start looking bad. But after several years, everything’s holding up nice.

also gotta say best car has been pretty good lately on getting their renders to look really close to the final design

Hmm, so a full second faster to 60, but their time for the first gen was considerably slower than most of the mags. I wonder what times the mags will squeeze out of these cars. My guess was that this power vino would put it on par with the nd2 so mid to high 5s, which outs it right with the s2k only with much more usable torque, and that's all I need.
