Hi Guys,
On the board for a little while now checking out the info, especially lately with the VLN race and latest photos. Looking forward to seeing the car debut officially in Tokyo soon and to be available in Canada!

My RX-8 is coming off lease within the month, so timing is good for this. Will be happy to get into a sports car that doesn't cost a fortune to run like the RX-8.

Cheers,

Andre.
Ottawa, Ontario.

Hello, FT-86 crew! Been waiting for this car for years. Best move for Toyota since the Hachi-Roku. Glad to be a part of the buzz before it goes into worldwide pandemonium.

Owned in the past: 2000 Impreza GC8 coupe with Sti Ver. 3 engine swap, 1993 Mazda FD3S TT R1, 2004 Mazdaspeed Miata.

Currently: 1995 S14 with SR20DET and Ichi-Go conversion. Going for low stance, but clean execution with suspension bits, wheel choices, and aero.

I'm a bit of a wheel whore too.

hello FT-86 community!

I should have registered long ago but here i am.

anyone from club4ag and groovydrift should know who i am. yeah, im still around.

i've owned a few drift cars and i cant wait to get my hands on the FR-S.
in order from oldest to most recent, i have owned:
92 240sx super hicas (sold)
87 AE86 (sold and cried)
94 silvia (stripped and shipped parts back home from Japan)
95 240sx (bolted parts from silvia, and sold)
98 Z28 that is stupid fast, but stupid for drifting.

im ready to go back to japanese cars. although the new camaros are tempting... just so heavy and need LOTS of work to drift.

i am really hoping the FR-S is under 2,600 lbs and also under $27k nicely equipped.
i dont want leather, nav, any of that crud. just like my s14 would be nice.
A/C, p/s, locks and windows.
and the factory LSD better be a 2-way or its getting ditched! hahaha
also curious on MPG and steering angle. we havent heard much on either.

come onnnnnnn DECEMBER!!!!!!!!!

so yeah, thanks for the neat-o FR-S forum. see you around!

Cam, Lid, magnaflow catback, BBK intake manifold, LS7 lifters, ECU tune. good for 400 hp.
sure its fast, but it drifts like a boat.

Another Newbie here.

Been following the FT for ages now, wish they would get round to selling the damn things as I am seriously considering buying one. Will most likely be the first new car I've ever bought in my life so quite a milestone. Usually I see new cars as a waste of money when you can get a year old or six month job for cheaper, but if this turns out to be as good as it should I may hang on to it for a while

Just been lurking these forums for a long time now, figure with the launch (hopefully 8-9 months away from now) I figured its a good time to start getting to know everyone here.

Was pretty active with club4ag for a long time, I have been out of the AE scene for a while so I don't frequent as much as I used to. Though I have to admit the urge to buy another is coming, but I have to restore my projects that I have now.

I have a nice little collection of cars right now...

1975 Celica Coupe
1977 Celica Liftback
1979 Corolla (TE31)
1988 MR2
2007 Yaris 2DR Hatchback (My fiances car but hers is mine mine is hers right? haha)

Might add a few more to that list but I have a lot to do with the 3 70s projects.

Names Gregory and nice to meet you all, hope to share information and help each other out.

Hi there,
Another newbie to the forum although i had been following ft86club closely.
Seriously considering buying one, will decide subie or scion after TMS in december!

Have no drifting experience other than snow drifting on university parking lots with my old Nissan GA16 if you can call that anything! As much boring as it sounds, now i drive a 2007 Camry. Really want to go back to stick shift and set my eyes on FT-86 sometime last year. Thanks Ft86club for that

Anyone from or near OK who are interested in getting passes for Hallett Racing Circuit for next summer??

Hey I'm Joe from Colorado USA.
I currently have had a 2007 toyota 4 runner for the last 4 years due to weather and my hobbies out here. My most fun car I owned was my first a 1992 Nissan 240sx. I owned a 2002 Mitsubishi eclipse and it was not nearly as fun. I'm ready for my first second vehicle and this looks to be very fun oriented.
