How dare a company tack shit onto the front and sides of a car!
Wouldn't see Subaru or Toyota doing that!

There have been others though.

Then you have everyone drooling all over the box flares on the E30 M3 or the Starion.
These boxy concepts like the IDX (link below) and Peugeot were good. The E30 M3 inspired flairs and body is nice. The rear end lights are ehhh. The bumpers have straight up plywood, 90’s, cheap rice written all over them.

I think the light colour does it no favours, making it look big fat and bloated. I bet it'd look much better in darker colours, same as the new big shnoz M4 which I actually like in purple/black

all it needs is to be lowered, nice wheels with good fitment, a lip and some side skirts and it'll look really good. OEM can never get the wheels looking right

Not a fan of the rear bumper but I don’t mind it otherwise. The weight is so fucked though, how does this thing weigh 3800lbs? Parents are first in line for an allocation at their local dealer today, didn’t seem like much interest compared to say the Corolla GR I attempted to get an allocation for before they even released it and I was already sixth in line at the dealer.

The weight is a shock. The M2C was what, 350lbs lighter? How could that even happen? I guess everything that has to deal with the torque gets beefed up, then the car is heavier so everything that has to deal with the weight gets beefed up. Plus the usual tech cancer.
