but any dealer playing the 'new car!' shell game is likely not worth dealing with at any price.

We purchased three used vehicles during the pandemic. The Jag was an amazing buy - a 2017 coming off a commercial lease with very low mileage. They offered us a fair price for a turn key 2016 Maxima Platinum edition and sold our trade in 3 days at a 50% premium to what we were given - and it was still a fair price to the new owner.
This transaction would be no different. A garage kept 2020 Lexus IS 350 F Sport with low mileage and a clear title that they could sell in a week with no effort. All they would have to do is wash it. They might not get 50% on it but they could make up for what they would lose on our deal and get both off the books. Third car was a 2013 Mini Cooper from CarMax. Not a great deal but we weren't gouged either.

Probably crinkled your nose at her when she was trying to talk to you. Can't waffle around with Moms.

Our woodwork teacher used to throw wooden backed blackboard duster at anyone who wasn't paying attention in his class. The teacher was an ex-rugby player so his aim was always to skim over the head of the naughty kid..

The new show is more of an ensemble cast than just a two-person show, but I think that will lend some additional interest to it. In addition, it has some threads that will continue between shows rather than being more episodic. While the leap teaser is still there at the end of each, there is some back story they'll get to carry between episodes. The pilot episode was decent but it does feel like a pilot episode (even though I understand it's actually the second pilot, and the first pilot is being used as the 6th episode).
