Craigslist. Watch it regularly, they pop up from time to time. I'm going to get one eventually and then rebuild it.

They are platform mates. Ford and Mazda jointly developed it when Ford still had an interest in Mazda.

I'm fortunate enough to live near Wow Motorcycles. Man talk about an adult candy store. You never know what you'll see there. MomHawk hates it when I have to drive in the direction for something because she knows it adds two hours to my errand.

eBay is a good source too if you want a really rare bike. I've been on the hunt for a 1983 Honda Silverwing for some time, and they do pop up on there every few weeks even though very few were sold in the US (1 year run for the GL650 model).

Honestly, the Mazda2 was at the top of my short list. I drove a rental and loved it. But I had to have the 5spd and those were scarce when it came time to buy.

I actually have a blog about the bike build :

https://cb650kustom.wordpress.com

It's cafe racer inspired but I'd rather call is a custom bike, just doing what I want to it. I got it locally for 700$, it was running, but had alot of neglect (chain and sprockets were shots, etc...) very little rust though. I probably have around 2000$ invested so far in it (including tools I had to buy).

It has already quite changed from the time I bought it

And the photoshopped version of what it should look like once finalized...can't wait to put my leg over it

Oh and the last pic of my other bike, my trusty KLR650 being used like it should

Newer Mazdas can be distinguished between Japan and Mexico plants by their starting VIN number or letter. They made it pretty simple.

3 = Plant in Mexico
J = Japan

it's seriously cute, and looks like something right out of Cars....which is exactly why I couldn't drive it.

Ermahgerd dat CB on whitewalls. That is what I want in a bike. Well, with a 500mi tank range and the ability to carry a passenger.

So do I. The gauge cluster is my favorite. I've heard lots of good stories about how well Mazda 2 drives. With this new look of both in and out, I'm starting to be interested in this car.

Good for you OP, knowing what's the best for you right now!
ah maybe you're the firestorm i've parked next to at kent valley ice a couple times. what size hockey bag do you have?
