Angry Car kept going to safe mode

Hi everyone, Im not sure if any of you faced the similar issue. Was driving and the car went into safe mode and not able to rev 4K and above. If i slowed down, the engine stalled. Initially I thought it was the MAF sensor so I got it changed.

Today it happened again. I went high speed and almost every gear will be between 6K to 7K rpm before i changed gear. After the high speed downhill session, i went slow, the rev just drop and car just wont go. Engine stalled while causing but I did a rolling start. After a few rev, the car back to normal again.

Is it because of throttle body? ECU? Spark coil? Or MAF again?

I need to help from expert here.

Engine shows no sign of error.

If it is going into limp mode there has to be a code. Have you checked?

It's a slow car therefore by default it's in "safe" mode all the time.. until that is someone messes with the set-up.

Without a code, we would be just guessing. We would still be guessing even with a code.

Sounds like its time to take your car into a shop for a check up.

Did you look at the fault history though? Even if the code goes off it still saves some in memory.

Is not! My car is completely stock and about 2 years ago, a Washington State Highway patrolman didn't think it was slow at all - and I got the ticket to prove it -

The mods all came from Japan directly

1. Exedy stage 1 racing clutch
2. Endless Zeal Function coilover
3. Endless brake pads

So nothing has been done to the car. Still on JDM limiter.

it's slow if limiter is on. LOL. I can hardly catch even a 3 series at straight. But a different story when it comes to winding road. LOL.

Without a code to at least start you in the right direction there is zero way anybody can say what your problem is. There are literally a thousand things it could be.
