The gen2 has a stiffer (and louder) body, amplifying the NVH in the front.

I was referring to the V1 actually as I have yet to sell them and considering to use on my incoming gr86. Would be content as long as they can still provide any positive improvements over stock suspension.

"has anyone installed CSG Spec TEIN Flex A V1 on a gen2 car?" Hopefully my answer makes more sense now. In other words, if you want to get CSG Spec TEIN Flex A for a gen2 car, I don't see any reasons to go V1; get V2 instead. Quote:
My conclusion is based on a combination of things:
Quote:
I have a friend who recently installed V2s on his gen2. Last time I checked he was still figuring out the setup a bit, but I do plan to compare vs my Annex CSP soon. Quote:
However, one thing you're missing is that I already wasn't happy with NVH when the coilovers were brand new. In fact, through minor setup adjustments over time I was able to eventually improve NVH compared to what it was initially, despite that off-track incident. An independent party (someone Mike trusts, to the best of my knowledge) has driven my gen2 after I put my post-off-track-incident CSG Spec TEIN Flex A on it, and confirmed that the NVH is pretty typical for these coilovers even when new. Yeah, that's good durability.

I have a set of Annex Clubsports on order. Went with 9K/12K swift springs. Excited to compare to my buddy who is gonna get the CSG Spec Flex A's for his Gen 2.

We have several customers who consistently run on the Nurburgring with our CSG FLA. Some have came from many notable and more expensive coilovers before settling with the CSG FLA as they can hop and ride berms much easily with better control than other systems. Just for reference of how the road conditions are like on the Nurburgring from a GT86 perspective.
