Anyone thinking of wrapping the lower front bumper black trim?

Although I don't necessarily HATE it, I do think wrapping the black portion on the front bumper, I do think the front would look much more aggressive if that part was color matched.

I do like the GR86 front bumper, but I feel like that's partly because the whole piece is a singular color and makes the front end look lower to the ground since it's more visible.

Would painting be the best way? Wrapping? To my knowledge I don't think that piece is separable from the bumper

Wrapping would be reversible and more cost effective.

Might be challenging matching some colors.

I think the pieces would good in gloss black. Either carefully spray painted or wrapped. Just looking at those shapes they look hard to wrap.

What trim and options did you get?
When did you order?
Did they give you an ETA for car?
Are you planning to modify it?

In Canada, so got the 6spd manual, Black, Sport-Tech. No accessories.

Dealer told me on Sept 27th:
"Partial news update: We have a black, manual, Sport tech BRZ that just rolled off the assembly line."

He said they were expecting their first allocation (3 cars) in Nov/Dec (but he said could be on the later side of that), but I don't think my car is in the first allocation - couple ppl had already claimed a couple WRB from that first allocation. I expect probably January would be a reasonable delivery for mine.

I doubt I will modify it.
