Does anyone have a picture or a chop of the 17x9s in gunmetal and/or silver on a silver BRZ?

Also, anyone have 245/40s with max negative camber on crash bolts? Any rub under full compression?

Thanks!

Garrett

Also, what ever happened to Matt Andrews?
He sold his car, focusing on other things but he will pick up some new toy I'm sure.

This is an excellent combo, I am running silver on silver myself. When I had a 255/40R17 with Swift springs and crash bolts maxed out the tire was probably within a mm to touching on the stock spring seat. With a 245/40 you should have a few mm of clearance. You should have zero issue on the fender clearance with full compression.

That's me. The picture looks so great because of how well it was taken. I take zero credit for it. Here are some more pictures that are not quite as spectacular showing off the wheels.

@mines13 - Thanks for such a quick reply! It really does look sweet. What are your tires' model and spec? Also, I read your build thread and I wonder- did you upgrade to coilovers or are you still using the swift springs? The front looks pretty well cambered in... I'm interested in getting the Mach V Awesomes and I know that with their width getting them under the fender will require some negative camber. I guess my general question is... what is your current setup?

I am currently on Eibach R2's. The tires are 255/40R17 Federal 595 RS-R. Camber bolts would still be sufficient, especially if you stick with the better 245/40R17 size for a 9" wide wheel. I feel that the tire/size numbed the steering pretty significantly. My next setup with be a 245mm width tire.

More information on the brake setup? Are they from the standard STI swap?

These look almost just like the 5Zigen FN01R-C's.

This is well established, what makes these better is that the 5Zigen wheels are not available in the more desirable fitments for these cars. You can not get the FN01R-C in17x9 or 18x9.5 with a 5x100 bolt pattern.

Instead, will have to settle for the silver which is SLIGHTLY darker than the BRZ silver, since the gunmetal is essentially black.
