No FI for me. Just not worth the hassle if you start doing HPDE's.

These cars have a problem with heat stock and going FI just increases the heat load on the engine IMMENSELY.

Plus, this car I/H/E + Tune + sticky tires will embarrass a lot of stuff at the track. It was funny to see what I did to "faster" cars in my 1.6 Miata at Hallett.

I'm in the same box. I ran my last vehicle with a PPE header and it was the fantastic. I've heard PPE has had a header out for the last year + but never heard much from the community nor seen a good comparison dyno.

Yeah I really want to stick to NA as well. Get like 250 hp. Raise the FD to the 4.56. Get down to like 2600 lbs. car would be a beast. You're so close! We should go Hallett sometime!

Hoping to this year. I haven't been out with the old car since the end of 2013.

Hallett is only a 30 minute drive from my garage.

Coming from the Miata side, you hear a lot about them on their forum. If their header was out earlier, I probably would of gone with them.

Right!? It's almost eerie how there's not much to be found for the 86 platform from such a proven company...

I'm only like 2.5 hours away. I've never tracked before... Hard to find time when I'm always so busy.

And the price is also much more reasonable than P&L or Nameless.

Then there is Ptuning who claim 200whp on 93oct, not having to use E85. Waiting to here back from them on price.
Their website shows $1300 for just the header!!!

Let me know if you get quoted a better price because I'd see no reason (personally) to go with them and that sky high price when I could pick the PPE one up with an overpipe for $800.

Yeah, I looked it up on their web site a different way so it didn't show up.

Ptuning, P&L, Nameless, and JDL are all very proud of their stuff.

PPE also said he can make the header in the 304 SS for those who are interested. I'm waiting on one more email back from him for some final questions I sent his way.

If one of you gets the PPE header, please do a baseline and after-install dyno. Please.

Yes i was on 9th gen nice to see another 9thgener. I had got the special batch of headers from Gustavo aka redliner9K and ran a supercharged header with full 2.5 exhaust straight pipe even though i was n/a. I saw an advantage to the supercharged header with that 2zz that no one else saw. 3 inch intake and Apexi PFC tune. hit 207 whp. My name was XRSLIFT. I never posted anything after all my work done because of course coming back from the dyno someone ran a redlight and hit me head on . Totaled my car. Ever since then I never logged back on.
