First review of a pre-production model is up on Motor Trend. It sounds like a fantastic GT car, but probably falls short of the Chevy SS/Pontaic G8 GXP. Ah well, back to praying for the next Impala to move to the Omega 2 platform with an LT1.

The coolest thing about it might be the 5-door. Yada, yada, the 86 should be a hatch.

Now I'm especially curious about the G70. Since it is basically the same car, although smaller, it should be even better.

Could be an interesting option for a family car.... especially considering there will probably be some good deals later in the year, or as a lightly used CPO as depreciaion on a Kia will probably be pretty steep

I like the way you think! I would probably look at a used one in a year or two for my winter car and finally make my FRS my fun car instead of my DD.

Assuming they are released at the end of the year as they say they will and that they will actually depreciate as fast as everybody thinks you would probably be more like 4 years away from getting one..

How much time have you spent in a Kia recently? Interior will not match the price point imo, depreciation will be steep.

I gotta say this thing has grown on me. I thought it was overstyled (still do), but seeing it in motion has changed my thoughts on it.

I still wish they'd put out the 2 door GT Stinger concept from awhile back, but this looks like a (not too) poor man's Giulia.

I have spent exactly 0 seconds in a Kia ever. Cars have improved interiors before though so we will need to wait and see.

Overpriced and overweight.

Pass

While I'm not impressed, this is still way better than anything Acura has put out (sedan-wise) since the mid 2000's TL.

It's actually pretty decent compared to most new full size sedans. Have you seen this atrocity?
