So I have been VERY busy the past few weeks, but have worked through countless nights to finally get this car running. I have made many small changes but most importantly have switched to a throttle body EFI system. I did NOT need to make a harness for anything, I just tapped a few wires and got everything important to work. The engine is 100% independent of the factory computers and harnesses, and that's really what I wanted. Literally the only factory part used is the ignition to send the cranking signal to the starter, and even that is wired directly. I might eventually switch back to an LS style intake manifold but I'm in no rush to do so. I will update the thread again once I get everything finalized, then the car will go back to CX Racing for the turbo kit, then to my bodyshop for paint.
For now, the car runs and drives. I took it around the block tonight and everything seemed to check out okay. Make sure to watch the video and see it run! [ame]http://youtu.be/1QRXAnX-R8Q[/ame]

So when routing the fuel lines, I assumed the three fuel lines were: feed, return, feed. Little did I know that our cars have a returnless fuel system, and what I assumed a return line was a vapor feed line. I ran the car today and fixed the overheating problems I had, but the car started POURING fuel out of the breather near the filler neck. I removed all the vapor related evap junk, drilled a hole for a new return, and ran a new breather. Check it out!

Do you have all functioning gauges yet? And do you know when CX racing will be releasing their LS swap kit |

My speedometer and fuel gauge are working and accurate. I have yet to connect my coolant temp sensor or tach signal as the handheld for my standalone reads those. I will do it soon though! Before those will come ABS and power steering

I don't do time attack anymore, sorry. Just drift! I did however consistently get 48/49 when I was running the stock FA back in 2013
