I just go onto cams.

$290 for 15months if we start in Oct.
Need a constitution. They're emailing me a generic constitution.
They recommend the club be incorporated. I'll look into this. Prob around the $100/year mark. If the club is incorporated they want a copy of the cert.

They're emailing me all the details. Will post again when I know more.

Insurance doesn't cover anything that happens on the track. Goodluck! =D

yeah that's the thing, I'm worried about....so i'll probably go really slow on the track just to learn the track and how the car behaves first before i go hardcore.

The more help the better.
Car clubs can exist well without CAMS.

Welcome to the forum!

I agree. It just opens up more events you can do. I do most of my racing with AMSAG/AASA.

Got an email from CAMS with all the details. Just haven't had time to read it because I spent all weekend doing mods to the 86.

doesn't matter how slow you take it on the track, there is always that risk whether its self inflicted or a third party hits you...

BRZ CLUB OF AUSTRALIA

Just thinking why not BRZ/86 CLUB OF AUSTRALIA Inc.
Sub branches NSW,VIC,QLD,SA,WA,TAS & NT.

I was thinking about this to. Could possibly share costs, sponsorship, etc. But it gets hard to organise the running of the club. Eg. How do members attend the AGM?

I am liking the name and sub region idea. A solution to how members can attend a AGM would be to have each sub branch organsie a location for the meeting and all the sub groups can conduct the overall meeting via skype or google hang-out.
