SoCal has many meets with a ton of cars but I think that might be the only state that has us beat.

Cali and Texas I think. I don't know how many meets Texas routinely has, but they tend to be bigger than ours.

Why the push to have large meets and grab people from craigs list etc? I would rather have a close group that does not cause issues or draw the wrong type of attention to itself then a big group with those who would say drink in the parking lot, leave trash, do burn outs, blare music, rev loud annoying motors and so on.

To each his own but to me every time I have done a car show or event I do enjoy more people showing up but I prefer they be of the same caliber and show respect. Every year a close friend of mine and myself do the Car Show for Cancer here. This year's was the biggest yet and exhausted me, I even missed an FR-S while running around trying to keep everything going smoothly and that was just 100 cars or so. Not only did I find I could not please everyone and that those I let judge caused me some issues... but that even the best reason was not always reason enough for others to think of anyone but themselves.
Thankfully everything went rather smoothly and we will have no problem going back next year, but each time I pick up on the points I need to change in the hopes of one of these times getting it perfect... or just being able to sit down for a while lol.

Just to be clear I am not trying to be rude or down play the idea, I might have come across that way and it was not my intention at all.

I've put together many meets. Big and small. The last big meet I held at my house was the BBQ. Name: ImageUploadedByTapatalk1378840403.417694.jpg

I understand you are not trying to be rude. We still have smaller meets. I've only been working on this for 2 months now so when things like that are said I do unfortunately take offense. I will have at the end put 4 months of my time into this next BIG event. That is all ill say about it. I have put so much into this. I'm doing this for everyone in ARIZONA86. Not for me. I like to give back. Trust me. For those who miss this will be very disappointed. I'm not going to getting into details of this, all I can say is I'm freaking so excited!!!! Ill give my shoutouts and props to the people that are helping me pull this off when the time comes, because there is no possible way I could pull everything off all by myself. Thanks you to everyone in the community because this all couldn't be possible without you!

Just today I've had over an hour long meeting with SCION CORP as well. If you thought the free swag and raffles were good at the BBQ. Just wait!

I'm sorry you took it offensively trust me I know about putting time into events. The Car Show I mentioned raised over 3000.00 for a little boy here in Tucson who also got a ride on a Helicopter from Life Line, Fire Fighters giving him a ride on the Truck and the Power Wheels we got him. It was 6+ Months of planning pulling everything together. (As were the other 2 before it on the U of A lawn)
http://azstarnet.com/news/local/sund...d1dd7cc0e.html

What I said was not meant to be offensive and again I can only say sorry but this too is not something I am unfamiliar with and I would hate to see something bad happen. I wish you the best of luck, maybe I will attend or maybe you will end up preferring I do not. Either way I hope everything goes smoothly.

All are welcome for sure. I'm not that thin skinned. I just want everyone to enjoy and all come together annually. This type of event is the 1st annual. It's going to be HUGE!
