Hmmm....Dave-ROR is getting serious about his FRS build...Ordered tires, underbody aero, seat & seat mounts, harness, EcuTek, gutting interior and taking it in for a cage & fire suppression....maybe he is thinking about taking me out at the next event...LOL

So the buddy who bought #6 had been complaining about a notchy 3-4 shift in the transmission. So this past Sat we pulled that transmission and replaced it with the transmission out of #11, also installed a Verus shift fork, new release bearing, Whiteline transmission mount bushing and a Perrin shifter bushing. Car now shifts like butter!

Hey guess what I did today.... yep bought another 2013 brz limited..

Its blue... but not wrb whatever the dark one is called. michigan car with minor front end damage hitting something high.....

Organized the workshop a bit today and got rid of our old champ car racecar... now it's just a BRZ workshop I guess..

White one repairs finally started, tear down complete, front body datum points measured and squared, core support parts replaced and plug welded in. (New welder is awesome!) All in all, took about 3-4 hours. Waiting now on color-matched paint for the new core support and then reassembly can begin.

We buy parts cars too (only when we need one for something like an engine) and sell the other parts cheap too...
