What exactly is included I saw a thread about a retrofit on this and seemed a lot more time consuming and challenging than you are making it out to be

It includes everything that you need to install the unit. I will even send the wiring diagram. Honestly it depends on your experience. It might take you 14 hours or a few days to install.

Rather than put the blame on the consumer, I'd say the Monogram should've just been a standard option model offered for the FR-S. That being said, the feeling of regret is mutual on not purchasing a Monogram.
