Post up your old Honda's

I know you all had one... I don't miss the car in general, but I sure do miss rippin' down the track on slicks.

Only have slides from that era. This will take some messing about to actualize.

Here was my first car and also my first of many Hondas. It was a 92 that I bought 7 years ago with 320,000kms on the speedo and yet it drove like a dream [in the beginning]. lol

I will byte (pun). I have no shame in owning a 1988 fwd shitbox that is 10 seconds faster per lap than a 2013 $25k rwd sports coupe with a superior power to weight ratio... Yeah, I have no shame in admitting to that.

Hondas:
1989 Civic Hatch Si, high school beater
1988 CRX si (B16)
1988 CRX si (ITA race car: wrecked)
1990 CRX si (ITA race car: 3 back to back championships)
1992 Accord EX sedan
2002 S2000

The CRX was a really fun little car and the Integra Type R (dad owned one) was bloody brilliant. If the theft rate wasn't what it is, I'd trade my FRS for an ITR yesterday.

They all punch above their weight, doing more with less and that's a big part of why they appeal(ed) to me. Unfortunately, Honda has become the new Toyota lately.

If anyone wants to go 10 seconds/lap faster than an FRS for half the price just let me know, I'll let the CRX go for the low-low-low price of $12k Considering what it would cost to make the FRS 10 seconds faster it doesn't seem so bad now does it?

Roads? Where we're going, we don't need roads.

My very first car 2 weeks after I got my license. It was always stock, strictly a point A - B econobox.

Oh how I miss my old beater 92 Honda VX Vtec-E! My best was 52mpg. I'm a little bit of an eco-modder and hypermiler at my roots.

In retrospect, I should kept that ol' VX and got cleaner shell. It was falling apart like all Civics of this lineage living in the salt-belt.

I had a 92 prelude that ran for about 3 weeks. (first car at 18) Then it threw a piston through the block.... Then I got a ford explorer.....

I can dig that CRX SI!

Miss my BB8 Lude, last car I really used on a racing track. Was almost rammed off track by a useless Lancer Evo driver at 130kmh in a corner, since then never got back. Way too much idiots on Trackdays in my Area
