The pads do not give the ultimate braking power of BP 20's.
They do fade on the track when pushed, compared to the track pads.
They can be tracked but from the large amount of dust they wont last long.
I will report on how long they are usable at the track after they wear (cheaper to replace pads).

Further to -
2 track days and day to day (Hard) driving, 50 percent pad wear. Most of that wear was the 2 track days.
No noise after hard use on track until day to day driving removes the track layer on the discs.
After the pad taper wore off to full pad contact squeaks returned randomly, sometimes when cold, wet , sometimes when warm, but only at the very last tiny bit of light brake application (bumper to bumper slow driving). No squeaks when used hard.
This is with the competition lightweight stage 2,3 lightweight discs.

I have a full set of bp-20s that have a lot of life left. I moved to carbotech pads. They are for the sport fronts and rear bbk. Msg me if interested

I already have the sports as well, just trying to find a comprehensive list of what wheels fit the RR kit is a bit challenging. I was wondering/hoping the PP brembos are relatively close so that we could use their fitment thread as a basis point.

New Konig Hexaform 17x9 +40 clears the Sport Calipers! It clears them by a little over half an inch and with the sport calipers already being on the wider side these wheels should clear the other RR Racing BBKs.

Adding 2 things:

On the Sport BBK and rear BBK if you break one of the tiny black bleeder screws, the WW replacement part is Wilwood Disc Brakes 220-6069 - Wilwood Brake Bleeder Screws.

Also Apex ARC-8 17x9 ET35 clears Sports with miles of room

Hi Justin, we have a Tuner4 class time attack FRS and the stock brakes are actually not too bad with no added downforce and no forced induction as we only do 3 hot laps. We run GT3 air guides in the front and HP+ pads all around.


Your sport kit for the front looks to be a good match for our setup and improve brake modulation, reduce weight and improve overall performance. How will the brake bias be maintained and what pads do you recommend on the front to match our HP+ pads in the rear on OEM rear calipers?

With HP+ in the rear, you can go with Wilwood BP20 up front with our kit. HP+ is not that high friction pad -- I am surprised that it is enough for your speed.

We would recommend our Stage 2 or Stage 4 kit for the front with our Sport Performance kit in the rear for the best bias (see the chart -- the most right column). You can run either BP20 or BP30 pads for front and rear. This setup was originally designed for Phil Grabow's Element Tuning Time Attack FRS (over 500 hp), but he had our Stage 4 rear kit that we no longer sell (but the Sport Performance has bias very close to our Stage 4 as you can see from the chart).

Thanks for the insight. The cooling ducts really help up front - we have done this on a lot of cars - greatly extended the performance of OE components with cooling which from the factory is not adequate.



Which kit and what pads are used in the RRR Front/OE Rear setup (the 4th from both the right and left)?

The pads are not important as the bias will be the same ratio with matching pads. Our Stage 2 and Sport Performance front kits will have the same front/rear bias.

Between the sport and stg2 which do you recommend and why? The price is relatively close.

If Stage 2 fits, then I recommend Stage 2. It has 6 pods vs 4 pods of Sport Performance, and Stage 2 allows for thicker race pads.
