Coilovers are recommended if you want aggressive alignment and/or planning to run wheels and tires larger than 9.5 and 255 respectively. I was only able to gain -0.6 front camber until the tire was rubbing inside the strut perch (only had camber bolts).

Now with camber plates, I am able to dial in more aggressive alignment without rubbing....but it's still damn close -- about 1-2mm clearance.

edit: Forgot to mention, any offset lower than et35 **should** be fine, depending how much negative camber you dial in.

The following wheels specs on the new wheels i purchased and waiting to arrive:
Front-18x9 +38
Rear-18x10 +38

Current wheels:
Front - 18x8.5 +34
Rear - 18x9.5 + 40
Front - 225/40/18
Rear - 265 /40 /18

I'm dropped about 2 inches, basically no wheel gap, but i rub ever so slightly in the rear, the plastic tab where the bumper and body meets, it only rubs on hard turns or bumps in the road...

those tabs will rub REGARDLESS. you either let them rub themselves out or do what king tut and i did and dremel them out. in the front on the new setup you'll be okay with atleast a 245/40 or a 255/35 in the rear though you'll be a bit more aggressive than i am now, so you'll need like 2.5 degrees of camber unless you wanna run a stretched tire... should look good though!

also 265/40 is HUGE. go to a 265/35

Thanks for the input, i highly appreciate it!

Sorry i am running 265/35 lol i mistyped here and in my build thread... thanks for catching that.

So you think if i run 245/40 Front and 255/35 rear i should clear no problem with my up and coming new setup?

I'm running about -2.6 rear camber at the moment, it's not rubbing as much right now so it doesnt bother my as much.

if i continue to let it rub will that ruin anything aside from that tab itself?

You know... after having someone straighten out my brain on something brake-wise, I might just go for the NT03s...

I do but unfurtunately my laptop shit to bed and I had them saved on there. I'm working on trying to fix it to at least get some of those files back, so if I do I'll let you know. Should've saved them on my external hard drive but didn't do it in time.
