So got it running and driving but I have an issue and not sure where to start.
It run great up till about 4psi or 5k ish rpm then it cuts out. Doesn't stall or or did just cuts off abruptly. Tune issue or is there a hose or something loose somewhere? Sent from my VS985 4G using Tapatalk |

Could be the bypass valve or tune related. I'd check the lines going to the bypass valve and make sure those are clamped.

Also check the Evap solenoid under the intake.

Make sure the lines are still attached. The motor isn't designed for boost so those lines pop off sometimes. I had to clamp mine on. I believe there's a thread on the forums about it. Something like "check this before going FI."

I popped the evap hose by barely pulling on it so I'm assuming it was already 99% off or just stuck on something else. Can't get it back on yet due to engine being to hot but thanks for all the quick feedback Freeman. Last edited by mscamp02; 11-11-2015 at 07:14 PM. |

So I got that reconnect but now im sure I just popped it off by mistake because I have the exact same issue. Runs fine up to 4 psi/ 5k ish rpm then has a hard cut off. I've been running over all of my lines and cant find anything. I may try hooking my air compressor and push 10psi of air through the hose connecting to the intact to see if I hear any leakage.
Also did a check to see if I missed anything and on my work bench I did have 2 parts from the kit not installed. Not sure how I missed it I went back through the entire install manual and didnt see anything at all listed. Also not sure where they would go(pic below). [IMG][/IMG] Another thing I just want to check myself on is when the instruction said take off all of the intake and associated hosing/tubing I took off everything including the tubing running to the firewall by the battery where the rotrex oil canister is located. Does this sound right And one final though is that maybe my fuel is not keeping up but it should have been fine. I'm on 93 octane on stock injectors/fuel pump with the c38. As you can tell I'm new to FI but I can't see how things can run so smooth and well up to the exact same cut off of 4psi and 5k rpm. |

Glad we checked this, just sent the revised tune without the valet mode
But definitely secure the line under the plenum for the evap solenoid. We've been pulling the solenoid off to make this easy with the kraftwerks kit since the blower doesn't allow our long reach pliers to get in there. Or you can pull the AC compressor out of the way, that's pretty easy as well. Either way no need to pull the intake plenum off. |

Enirely new car, it's absolutely amazing with the added power! And for everyone who says this is how it should have come from the factory is crazy, that would be way to much for the everyday driver or random kid. Thanks mike for the kit and all the support !
