Australia does get a wide selection of vehicles but we also pay through the nose for some. Japanese and Korean cars are decent value here, but Euro and American cars are often much more expensive here than their home markets.

It’s crazy to me how cheap some Audis, BMWs and Porsches are in the UK for example compared to here, or how cheap Mustangs and Camaros are in the US.

I just hope they keep the price of the mkII really competitive, like the mkI was.

Silly question, but for all the availability of a good variety of fun cars (mostly feasible when from Asia as stated above) does the quality of roads and enforcement of motoring laws make it possible to use them?

Answer as best as you can from your own experience of course.

Side note: The Hyundai i20 N, which is my alternative to the next gen Twin, is also available in Australia much like the Fiesta ST. Both aren't available here in South Africa.

Not silly at all. This is actually one of the biggest appeals of the Twins for me - their ability to provide tons of fun on public roads and safe (and usually legal) speeds. This is in contrast to more powerful cars that are aimed more at outright performance and capabilities, but aren't as fun (if at all) at low speeds.

It's almost like there is another thread in this section already talking about this.

True. I have to say that the early renders have proven to be pretty spot on at this point.

I’m actually curious now of the rear diffuser, could catch a glimpse of the side of it in the new video, but can’t tell much.

One week

*If I don’t like the new car however for some odd reason I’ll have no issues grabbing a 2020 as I definitely love the current cars!

Tbh, you're going to get a lot of hate getting the new car regardless of the reason, the purists will be purists. I think it will be a more compliant car than what currently exists, more boring if you will, more Mustang-y.

IMO, the biggest things you're going to have to worry about are added tech(don't be surprised if you see "Eyesight®"), and dated powerplants.. just look at their track record.

Oh goody! A big fake plastic vent behind the wheel arch to go with our fake diffusers. Now we can fit in with the Type R Civics and their stupid fake mesh on the rear bumper, and the Kia Stingers with their fake bonnet vents.

Why?
Huh, read through all the threads... we have all already ascertained they are indeed functional...look at the wheel well from the mules, there are clear openings on both sides for fender vents and front bumper vents..
