You can make some STI curry with that.

Even comes in a gift box.

But the curry spoon is already sold out.

It was so fucking hot this weekend my OEM headunit GPS started to act up by asking me this EULA lawyer lips everytime I start the car. I disconnected and reconnected all the wires to the back and now it works fine again.

Should have pulled the headunit before I went and ordered a new Navteq SD card for $300CAD!!! But at least now I can navigate to all the new subdivisions up north.

I just got started on season 3 of Doc Martin and it is no longer available on Netflix. I hate when they do that. Guess I'll go for a drive.

East coast folks, try to stay cool.

Driving home from work yesterday I noticed that the road near my house was wet, and thought perhaps the owner of the fields sprayed water and there was runoff. After I got into my development and saw black treads continuing off the main road, I realized that it is so hot here that the cheap tar they resurfaced the road with last year is melting.

OK, I got a notice yesterday, that I have a package from my son, who is in Bogota, Columbia, at the post office, that I have to sign for.

I'm off to pick it up. If I suspect it's being watched by DEA or I see a drug sniffing dog, I'm just gonna shine on ..

There are tire tracks all through the development and up to people's driveways. Kind of amazing how many people can't drive in a straight line, and the COA rep is going to have a panic attack on their next inspection.

That's not possible. I've driven through PA. That state has been doing the same construction on the PA turnpike for 50 years. There is no way they actually resurfaced a road last year.

WTF Amazon. They've screwed up more in the last week than I think I've ever had screwed up in the rest of my life of ordering stuff mail-order.

Well, I made it to the post office today to retrieve the father's day package my son sent from Bogota.

Yep, two kilos of a white powder and a rolled up dollar bill..

Just kidding....

It was some Columbian coffee and chocolate …

He has 3 more weeks of his tour down there chasing (virtually - so he says) drug cartel people. Those people play rough, I'll feel better when he returns stateside. His next assignment is at the Pentagon. He should be able to stay out of trouble there.

Meanwhile, back at the day care center … the pool party is in full swing ..

Some was nearly as important... I needed to bring extra hydration this last weekend (2 days of autocross, heat index over 100 both days) and keep it cool so I could stay cool and in good health. They kept packaging the double-wall canteens in light bubble-wrap envelopes and throwing them onto the porch. Denting them. I gave up. The gallon size I got showed up yesterday, too late for this last weekend.

The other item is obviously a warehouse screw-up, because I got the same wrong item in replacement for the first... and all they can do is say "uh oh, I can't ship that item any more but I can refund you, and pay for return shipping." All I wanted was a slightly nicer ratchet. Now I may have to go buy fancy snap-on or matco through a friend. Who needs money, right? Does you no good once you're worm food.

Stay safe the next couple days everyone, and keep the pets from cowering too much!

I suggest next time you order military grade …

I could have loaned you my ratchet …
