I guess I'm weird. I'd vote for the e60 m5. Big and heavy yeah but you can out accelerate most muscles 10 years later in comfort with 2 kids in the back on your way to 200mph+ to make sure they get to school on time.

I mean...
All the reasons you stated for LIKING that M5 are for what all modern BMWs have turned into. Straightline speed. i.e. characteristics that traditional BMW fans look down upon.
