I drove a limited launch edition STi that did not have a wing. Definitely not a wrx, which I also drove. Got to drive that one hard cuz the salesman was really cool.

I'm not insatiable, i LOVED the evo VIII and IX, the ten feels nothing like them. Just wondered if sti's had the same 'watered-down' consensus that evo x's have by many owners.

You may be right and I'm too nitpicky though.
