So right now in my cart on ft86speed factory I have bilstien b8 full set, rce tarmac springs, whiteline front camber bolts and whiteline lcas for about the same price as greddyxkw coilovers. Between the two which is a better option. I'm running 17x9 +35 wheels with a 255/40/17 tire. The wheels and tires poke out a little and I want to correct that with adjusting the camber I guess? Also get rid of some wheel gap and not ruin the handling.

If you want to get rid of tire poke address the root cause: Get narrower tires.

Thanks, but that doesn't get rid of wheel gap.

A lot of my daily drive consist of twisty back roads and I would like to try auto-x and tracking in the future. I think your GTworx/bilstein coilovers will be perfect for me.

@Racecomp Engineering -- Driving on canyon/backroads where I am running into mid-corner bumps, I feel like the rear of the car gets unsettled and I can feel the TCS wanting to kick in. It does not feel like the rear is bottoming out at all.
What can I try to do to alleviate some of this? Should I dial in a little more camber in the rear? Change damper setting ratio front to rear? Driver mod? Other suggestions? Current setup:

What are some good modifications for this type of driving/roads in general? I have similar issues but my car is stock other than wheels/tires (225/45 17 Firestone Indy 500s), rear subframe bushings, and front camber bolts. My main complaints are wishing the car was more controlled in transitions and that the rear end gets unsettled mid-corner and corner exit as described by @asdf . And my normal driving is commuting ~60 miles round trip mostly on interstates with poor pavement quality so maintaining ride quality is important. |

Just noticed that one of my locking bolt on my RCE t2's ride height adjuster is stripped. Any suggestions on how to fix it? Also just noticed that the adjuster is made out of plastic...

That's what I figured it boiled down to. Is this a place where progressive springs can be advantageous for some extra compliance or does it still just come back to dampers that are well controlled and have a good amount of travel? Is this a situation where stiffer springs and a softer roll bar in the rear would make sense? Are there any other items that can help improve compliance in the rear? Are there any bushings that bind up under these conditions? In general I'm happy with the suspensions performance and for now it's a street only car. I'm trying to figure out how far down the suspension rabbit hole it makes sense to go. Thanks |

Compliance / NVH in rear .. maybe try smaller diameter wheels with tires appropriately higher sidewall profile .. and maybe a bit less air pressure. Sidewall flex will increase, adding comfort/soaking some road imperfections, but of course it will be accompanied with less sharp steering & a bit more roll.
