How did you get the reflective tape to wrap around the corner? Or I should ask which tape did you use? I bought one and it's pretty stiff hence can't wrap around the corner nicely like yours

When I came to the round corners of the black plastic exhaust surround, I'd incrementally press a 1 or 2 cm of tape down, rotate, press another cm or 2 down, rotate, etc. til I fully rounded the corner. Throughout that I also kept the tape pulled tense (almost stretching it but not quite) to prevent wrinkling. Lastly, this tape has a clear protective layer for packaging. That clear part wrinkles easily and also has some bubbling imperfections (it's just protective packaging, after all). After you finish applying the whole length, carefully pick at an edge with your fingernail or something very thin til you get an edge of the clear layer to catch and separate, then pull it completely off. That should rid of any wrinkling or bubbles you may see (it did for me).

Considering OEM Brembos when they come out in 2017:
In the meantime I've added TRD Front Fender Aero Fins alongside satin black wrap stripes.

Thanks for the reply!
I definitely got the wrong reflective tape at first. I was doing yellow reflective tape on red BRZ.. Looks nowhere near as good as red on WRB so I took it off.. |

Decided to use Black Friday specials to switch out my ST coilovers for Bilstein B8/TRD springs because I miss progressive springs and was indecisively adjusting coilover height every other month. Since I was going to work down there with car on jack stands, I also snagged a USDM TRD quickshifter (bracket that installs down in the transmission tunnel to complement my STI short shift lever and make throws doubly short) and TRD sway bars. Discovered my stock front sway bar had white stress marks maybe due to when my ST coilovers sagged way down to around 50mm a couple months after setting them to a conservative 35mm. So this was a worthwhile mod.
Feels like a new car with a much more composed, quality suspension. The rubber insulators under the top hats do wonders to silence spring bind. Some suspension folks I consulted despise progressive springs for their lack of feedback and I'd agree if I always took it to the track. But I went against their advice because I enjoy street driving without driving 10/10ths and being able to soak up its variety of terrains. Shifter throw feels right now. The shortened STI lever alone was an improvement but didn't feel precise enough for my liking. Also my 255 wide front tires occasionally rubbed my inner fender plastics so I decided to stagger with 18x8.5 235/40 front and 18x9.5 265/35 rear. Problem with the narrower front was my Brembos didn't clear which I learned the hard way after Discount Tire mounted my tires and brakes scored into my new wheels' spokes: Their insurance fully reimbursed me and I ordered another pair plus Adaptec Speedware 3mm spacers to clear the Brembos but thin enough for wheels to still mount hubcentrically. Was expecting to feel horrible understeer from the stagger but it actually feels easier to turn and holds the turn better. Maybe due the FR-S tuned TRD springs/sways. And it's nice to have a tighter turn radius again. This weekend I installed the OEM Subaru footwell blue illumination kit. Pleasantly surprised by the factory quality of the installation despite the mod having a ricer-esque vibe. Got some other ricer OEM mods coming that I've been on the fence about for years but will augment my exterior theme. Since I'm reaching the end of ideas to mod I might as well lol. Also been considering OEM Audio Plus for a couple years but a business course I recently took made me realize and appreciate OEM Audio Plus' marketing tactics. So before I buy into their hype, might be more sensible to try Subaru's OEM Kicker sub first which is on order. And I'll post an update on these but for now some random parked cars I saw over the holidays:
