Winter is coming :-)

Sadly, this also resulted in new Shoes for Wingo. Since I really hate the two color design of the stock wheels I plastidipped them black. Good thing is you dont have to care at all about cleaning them in winter :-)

i know right something about that wing just makes me go like

I just dont like the side skirts because it doesn't flow with the lines of the car. If it had the Release series 1.0 side skirts it will look perfect

Finally getting summer here again.

Kicking off the wintershoes, putting on summershoes, and get ready for the alps to finish their wintersleep.

Sadly not much new on Wingo, the past 6 months nothing changed, weather was bad, alps passes are closed, so it was a boring time. Now the alps should open back in June, so there will be more pictures coming then. Next on my plans is another Blackforrest tour, I hope I can get it in before end of the month

Was driving the Klausenpass last week after work, with some friends. Sadly did run in some heavy fog on the top of the pass. Good thing however, no traffic at all.

Sounds awesome, I'll check it when home. This year I was moving house end of June/early july, so yet not much driving for me this summer .

Fun part about the fog is, it really was like last year. We had 4 full weeks sunshine and no rain, and then it started raining on that exact day.... :-(

It's time to add some pictures again to show wingo is not dead.
Sadly I could not spend as much time with him as I wanted due to "life", but was fortunate enoght to have some visitors from estonia last month, that allowed me to join their tour accross switzerland and get out on the road once again.

This is how Wingo looks currently

Getting food before running with the pack

The rest of the pack

looking for snow

arrived at 2200m over sea

Stupid Traffic jams everywhere

Some rolling shots I liked

Today, exactly 4 Years ago, I took delivery of Wingo, and started this Journal.

Time for me to make a short recap of the last 4 years -> http://imgur.com/a/aksce

While making this recap, I noticed that I have never even once took wingo to a Carshow. I used to do this with my previous cars, but not with Wingo. Not sure why, maybe its just that I enjoy driving the car way more than have it sitting on a parking spot on display.

Anyways, it was an awesome 4 years, with alot of awesome people I've met from around the world, and memories I would not want to miss for anything in the world.

Cheers to Wingo, and hopefully to many more years of fun to come.

Was browsing your thread looking for information about the tire size since I'm getting the same wheel. Ended up reading the whole thread and I admire the adventures you have with your car and its transformation. Wingo is damn awesome!

Thanks as well for all the information. Finally decided to go 245/35/18 like yours since I will also be running with stock suspension for a while or get 1" drop in the future but that will as low as I go since I don't want to sacrifice a lot of comfort as a daily.
