I could make a very similar argument to Opie and p1l0t about it.

I work on a computer all day, I rarely touch dirty/corroded metal surfaces. Why should I have to take some random tetanus booster shot?

The only reason I got my most recent one was because I injured myself fairly seriously in an uncommon way and so the ER staff wanted to be sure I wouldn't have issues.
And the beauty of that is, had you NOT gotten the booster the only person (the people who would mourn your suffering and death notwithstanding) who would have been seriously affected would have been YOU. That's the big difference. Many of us are getting this (or these) vaccines for other people, too. Because it's not just all about us. That entire concept is fundamentally lost on an entire group of people.

But...but...but...that's exactly what your immune system does with the Covid vaccine. It learns how to fight off stuff just like it would if exposed to the virus, without the virus risks.

It's like learning to fly an airplane on your own, versus using an instructor. It can be done, but one is much more dangerous than the other.

Nice!

I had a dream last night that I got mine a week early, lol.

Guess I'm that excited for next Tuesday.

This thought process is equal to gasoline is a fuel, coal is a fuel, why can't I use coal in my car.

My whole point was if one is going to be as brazen enough to make that "immune system" comment, then that person would be a hypocrite on getting any kind of medical/drug help for any illness.
So you are saying, even if can be scientifically and medically proven that certain people have all the antibodies necessary to prevent infection from this virus that they should still get the vaccine? Why? That makes no sense.

And how does someone being concerned with, asking questions and researching this vaccine when deciding if they should get labeled an anti-vaxxer? A little extremist me thinks.

Or, even without the booster he may have been fine. (and, no I'm not against the tetanus vaccine) Tetanus also isn't transmitted person to person, usually isn't deadly and has less than 30 cases per year in the US.

Re; Covid, science is already proving that there are those who have the necessary immune system to fight off this disease, as effectively, and in the studies so far, more effectively than with vaccine. So explain why people that already have the antibodies that a vaccine trains your body to make require the vaccine? Sounds like its just to make certain people feel better...
