The car doesn’t have as much NVH with the backseat down which is nice for transporting golf clubs.
Do they eliminate that resonance on deceleration around 3000 rpm with the Perrin?

Not complete elimination but that is primarily what it fixed. Probably 80-90% reduced.

I know exactly what you're talking about, and that's the reason I got these.

For Legacy B4 2009-2010.
I suggest to go for all 5, after some break in I can say that result is quite good.

I believe the optimal solution is to change just the last 2 cushions the same way STI did. Changing all 5 cushions might decrease NVH a bit more, but will add under hard cornering additional exhaust movement which is not that optimal. Maybe not that important for some people over here, but factory had a reason to install the beefier on the mounting points stock cushions.

Ok this may sound strange but my STi cushions were actually stiffer than the stock bushings? It could be because my stock bushings have 160k miles on them and these STi cushions were brand new.

No problem at all, I love to share the stuff that has made me love this car even more.

Installing these was worth just to notice one of the Perrin C clamps had fallen off it’s hanger and I never would’ve noticed if I didn’t get my head under there.

I confirm that the modded hangers are stiffer than the stock ones (probably same rubber, but more rubber).
Just sound benefits from changing them all.

Now I don’t feel bad for buying all 5

Thanks for the update!

I just ordered 5 as well. Anything to quiet down the exhaust noise in this car. I tried my local dealership, they said there's non in the country (Canada) so I ordered them from Nengun as well. I'd never heard of this stores, I take they're reputable? If these work as well as advertised here it seems like something some of the online shops should be stocking, or even including as an option with their exhaust systems.

Nengun is reputable. I ordered mine from RHDJapan which was about the same price as Nengun if I recall correctly. They arrived in 3 days from Osaka to Toronto. Pretty impressive.

I'm curious on how a stock exhaust would sound with these hangers...

If that's directed at me; I'm running a CS400 header, JDL ultra quiet front pipe, and CSG (made by MAP) cat back.
