Now I know why people live here.

San Diego,,, 72 sunny no humidity. As opposed to the third level of hell where I'm from.

San Diego is a great place to visit, but I would never want to live there, unless I had a waaaay more money. And even then, not top of my list.

Loved that place. Lived there from 2015-2017. They claimed more breweries per capita than any other county. Called themselves the hoppiest place on earth. I could take $6 uber trip and walk to 6 breweries or their tasting rooms. Also, the best and cheapest sushi I have ever had (no, I haven't been to Tokyo, so maybe that's better), but between the East Coast and SD, San Diego won hands down.

After 2 years, the wife missed the family, so it was either a moving truck or a divorce lawyer. I figured the truck was cheaper.

Go fast, take chances.

6 years later and after 24 going strong today, she hasn't yet. Maybe I'm not so bad after all.

Go fast, take chances.

OK,, a few more observations. Gas is way expensive compared to home, $4.75 compared to $3.25ish. Parking is a giant PITA everywhere we've been and you have to pay for it. We've driven through residential neighborhoods and people are parking on the street. I am not used to that. I'm used to fresh seafood and it's as fresh and good as I've had anywhere. Weather is fantastic. Zoo is beautiful. Really like it here,, but wouldn;t live here.

One more day then going fishing for 4 days.

Gorgeous for sure! I feel like the only reason many of the governments over there get away with their ridiculous BS is because people tolerate it to enjoy the weather.

Still, it would never be for me. I prefer 4 clearly defined seasons.

Same here. As much as I like good weather, I have things I like to do during other seasons.

My brother has the same sentiment, and he's only been there a few years.

... But why Wisconsin of all places!?!?

That's where I'm from and where my parents are. Would like to be closer to them and be able to spend more time with them, since they're getting older and won't be around forever.

some of it yes, but car-wise, their climate is really different than anywhere else. with them backing up to the mountains, the air comes in off the coast, and then rolls up and back once it hits the mountain range. leading to them literally living at the bottom of what's essentially worlds largest cyclonic dust filter. so any and all pollution just keeps rolling, dropping, and accumulating in the area unless they do something about reducing it.
