Alternate location for reverse camera (HowTo)

I mounted up a Rydeen Duo on my Subaru BRZ using this post:

BRZ Limited Backup Camera Step by Step (WARNING long post, many pictures)

I found that I didn't like the OEM location much. When parking, the driver side parking lines, or curb, or other cars... strongly favored the passenger side visually. At times, it took a bit of mental arithmetic that I couldn't afford in my rush to avoid inconveniencing others. As a result, I removed it and installed it differently: in the center.

Also, I no longer have a stock headunit. As such, these are the wires to tap in the rear trunk, along the back trunk wall:

i bought this shit...doesn't fit because the camera won't go through the trunk garnish so i mounted it with 3M tape to the trunk...at least the video quality is good

3M tape is enough to keep it mounted even with the Florida heat? Which model is that?
