I think with all these options your looking at demenishing results. Better off going turbo if your seeking more power

Their quick easy cheap mods.

OEM bosch Pumps that flow like 2-3x the rate for about 100$
Larger dual pass radiators around 150$
Haven’t really seen a good alternative to larger reservoir.

But not for more power but more consistent power/safety.

What’s the hose diameter?
I was running dual radiators but that was to add extra cooling for the water jacket I was running which made a big difference .

Hose diameter is 19mm .

I wish i had that jacket, looks like it would be very effective.

Probably going to get a larger pump that moves 2x the fluid.

It’s a toss up between
Johnson CM30P7
And
bosch 0392022010

Then I’ll just wire it to a “on” fuse to bypass the injector plug.

Are there any pros and cons to running a speed density tune with this car that is purely street driven?

No need as you're not maxing the MAF (or near to) and you can't run one if using the OEM MAP sensor. Plus you don't gain anything over running MAF fuelling.

I took off the Moto-East short ram air intake and went back to stock (got it retuned ofc). My IAT's were about 40F cooler now but I don't hear my SC whine anymore. Isn't the SC supposed to have an audible whine even with stock airbox? I could hear it easily with the previous intake but not anymore with the stock one..

Yes but I mostly hear it in the upper rpm range. 4000 and on. Plus it will be dependant to your throttle

Can only hear it at WOT, and depending on exhaust it can cover it up a little. But with perrin intake it’s got a pretty good whine to it.

So is this still a viable kit to consider? I'm curious why newer owners chose it over other kits such as Harrop or Edelbrock.

It's a gem if your more driving the car on the street and back roads. E85 and a smaller pulley with the IC is a must imo. Used it's a good deal but new I think it's over priced. The power and tq curve is fantastic. For serious track use looks else where as even with the IC it will heat soak. I enjoy my kit and the price I got it used for was good 2800$

My car is purely DD and back roads spirited driving. But yeah, I would rather buy something like a supercharger new and the price is steep.
