How much of a drop is on that? I got an eibach pro kit and personally love the meaty tire - with the 1 inch drop the pro kit provides, would my car look as "close-to-flush" as yours given it is a 16 inch wheel? or should I stick with a 17 inch wheel and just get a meaty tire size instead? My buddies keep egging me on for 18, but I don't want to conform!

We are on Megan Racing Track Coilovers with about .5" more to go until they are bottomed out. There is about one finger gap in between the fender and the top of the tire and it's pretty flush so make sure you run a little bit of camber if it is daily driven so you don't shred your tires. We had it on 18" wheels before and didn't adjust the coilover height at all when going to the 16", so it worked out quite well!

If I had to guess the overall drop, I would think around 2-2.5" is what we have, but that's just a rough eyeball estimate.

If I wanted to go for the same meaty tire look, but on 17x8.5 front and 17x9 rear, what tire size would look flush/semi-flush enough with the 1 inch drop the pro kit provides? Or should I just go 18's?

I'd suggest a 235/45/17 front and 245/45/17 rear for that setup for a nice meaty tire look on the 1" low spring

This thread is huge if you have a chance to look through it:

Thread revival! Got my wheels from @GuerillaRacing. Great guys to deal with!

Anyways, stock ride height -- I have springs and front camber bolts, just haven't spent the time to install them yet. Sitting on 225-50-16 BFGoodrich SportComp 2s. Thanks to DKFX Photography for taking the pictures at a local Subaru dealership meet.

Looks great. Is there a lot of poke?

Yeah, there's quite a bit right now. I've actually grown to really like the look it gives. I'll have to put up more pictures after I get the springs on and adjust the front camber a bit.

Looks awesome!! Thanks for the pics. I'll be slamming our FR-S down a bit further later this month so stay tuned to see the fitment!

So not the best picture by any means, but finally lowered the FR-S on RS-R Superdown lowering springs and love it. I can confirm that with this rim and tire setup there is no rubbing on a stock strut (no coilover) suspension.

Oh how I wish they did this rim in a +38 5x100
Seems they are only 4 stud fittings in that offset.

Do we know how much these weigh? I am also wondering if the bigger tire offsets any sort of weight savings?

I am really loving the look of these... such a great price point too!
