I have the fantasy to build my engine and add a flex fuel kit, but that won't be for at least a few years.... If I still have my car that is.

How did you go about buying the different stages? Did you buy it all at once ?

I am planning on buying stage 1.0 when my warranty expires (I am already at half of my warranty's mileage and I've owned the car for 5 months).

Can you share a bit of your thoughts on the kit ? I am very interested to hear more about it.

My exhaust wasn't the cosworth exhaust, but it was equivalent of the 1.2 kit. So I bought the Stage 1.0 and then got the tune for that set up. At the time, I had no intentions of going the Cosworth route, so my exhaust was a bastard mix-mash (look on my build). But then they released their supercharger kit and I was sold.

I have just stage 1.0 with the catback currently! It is good stuff. Perhaps the best sounding exhaust on the market (depending on your tastes). The torque and hp gains are also noticeable with the tune. Makes for a better feel. Still has the noticable torque dip, however once you get up to about 5000 rpm you can feel it start to pull a lot better.

I agree the exhaust note is exquisite even with just the cat back.

When you say you have stage 1.0 plus catback, that is stage 1.1 correct ?

errrr technically yes. The true stage 1.0 is advertised most times as being the tune, thermostat, badges etc. all minus the catback which is technically stage 1.1.

(as advertised by cosworth)
Stage 1.0 = 15hp gain
Stage 1.1(plus catback) = 20hp gain

Negative. To save a few bucks I parted everything out through Vivid Racing and applied coupon codes, which left out all the badges and such but saved me a significant amount of cash.

I bought the catback, airfilter and ecutek kit all individually. Thermostat ($100 bucksish?) is on the list, but it is not critical at this point. Plus it seems like a bitch to install....

It is. You would be best doing it when removing the headers. Also you didn't get the badge?! that's one of the best parts
