Early morning fun run 6/10? - Toyota GR86, 86, FR-S and Subaru BRZ Forum & Owners Community

Ok, this is pretty last-minute, but my plans for tomorrow fell through, so I've got a few hours to burn in the morning. The WBM sounds cool, but more of an all-day thing and I'd like to be back home by noon or 1pm. Anyone wanna get together and try to burn off some break-in miles?

The problem is that I have no concept of fun roads in the immediate vicinity of where I live (Medford). But we could probably get lost wandering around Southern NH, Concord, MA, or somewhere else outside of 95.

I'd be up for it next Sunday when shit has finally calmed down for me. I should have at least 500 miles on my BRZ by then.

Glad to see there's interest.

I hit the road at about 7:30 this morning and put a couple hundred miles on. Still under 500, tho. I'd hoped this thread would get enough eyeballs last night that a couple folks could've joined me, but it was very last-minute.

The next two weekends are booked for me (Good Guys car show, then MINIs On Top). MoT is a full weekend in the Whites with 280 other MINIs. My wife runs the event. Pretty sure I'm not going to be allowed to bring the BRZ…

Out of curiosity, where did you go to get that many miles in just a few hours? I live near you and anywhere I drive I get mired in traffic.

Yeah, me too. It's frustrating as hell. I almost drove up to the Kanc.

This is basically what I did yesterday, but with more u-turns: http://goo.gl/maps/ewpy So, not 200, but probably more like 160. Plus trips to two different Lowes once I got home (there was a sale on angle grinders!).
