WTB: 2013-2015 6MT for under $12k

Any mods are fine, within reason.
BRZs preferred over FR-S, but am flexible.
Mileage not important as long as the car has been taken care of.

carfax says the valuation of a 2013 brz should be about $17-20k.

so you're looking specifically at salvage-title vehicles for that price range, which i would recommend financing over a salvage title...

KBB says one in "Excellent" condition with only 100,000 miles on it would be private sale $13,000. That would be a unicorn at best with the Subaru paint.

Mine (with AT and 210,000 miles) is worth well under $10K, and close to $5K.

interesting. difference in our locations? i was searching nationwide, but from chicagoland as a base location. the valuation ranged in mileage from 50k-110k miles...

i wouldn't expect there to be that much dramatic difference in price valuations between vendors.

Carfax says my car is worth $9,100 private sale so it looks like their valuations run a bit higher.

Two years ago (when I was checking values to sell mine) that would have been a perfectly reasonable request with a large selection in the price range.

Today... not so much.
