Coverking Genuine Leather Seat Covers Review

So I ordered custom seat covers for my 2013 Scion FR-S from a company called "Coverking". I ordered them through costco.com and they were about 780 dollars. If you order them directly they are over 1200 dollars.

Installation I would say is a 6/10, the hardest part was routing the cables underneath and slipping the seat covers over the head rest holes. The back pieces were pretty simple to install.

Would I recommend them? No, not at all. Even though these seat covers are "custom" but the fitment is pretty bad.

The stitching has some issues as this is one of the head rests.

The rear trunk release has oversize holes.

The seatbelt strap holes does not line up and is very difficult to remove and install.

Biggest flaw are these side air bag flaps. They do not fit well and they are exposing the inner foam.

I feel like they should not be made like this and makes it look extremely tacky.

For a product that retails the same amount as my iPhone X, I expected much better. I am going to return these back to Costco and probably order the DAMD 86 seat covers as those appear to have better fitment.

I ordered the DAMD tan fake leather seat covers and love them. Sometimes the seats look like they came out of the factory that way. If you do get them, just make sure you make them as tight as possible and really follow the instructions. Get them from ebay. Cheapest price around. I paid about $450 shipped

No worries. The ebay item number is 192315109646. Looked it up now and even though I paid $438 shipped back in december, I'm afraid the price went up to $617 shipped now. They're $600 at 86worx.com though. Maybe there's a coupon somewhere...

I love my DAMD 86 Vantage seat covers. Great fit and looks factory as the other poster says. Much much better fit than those and cheaper too!

Yikes, awful fitment; might as well buy those universal Helly Kitty covers lol.

Thanks for sharing.

For $780 why not just get a new seat or 2?
