I think thats where racer x went wrong. They should have developed a an intake designed to take an oem supercharger to our engines. I would have paid $1000 bucks for it.

I bet they can make a custom one for you. Not going to be as cheap as $1000 though.

So does anyone even have the real racerx intake before we have knockoffs?

They said they have only sold a handful. It's on my list of middle priority parts to buy. I just got to get my spare motor in first and have the car thrown on the dyno to see what it baselines.

I hope people post results. I ripped them a bit on their thread but I really want it to work. I just don't want to be the financial Guiney pig. They are a company and should be able to afford a proper tune

RacerX actually offered beta testing for their intake manifold with full reimbursement for the I/M and the dyno testing.

https://racerxfabrication.com/frs-br...e/beta-testing

I found it last week and asked them about it. The person I talked to sort of said they ended the offer for beta testing due to lack of interest. Not sure if that's the official position.
Basically, it was hard to find people who were willing to pay the $800 to buy the I/M, plus whatever the dyno testing costs, then wait for reimbursement.

I did too, though it was meant to be more constructive then it came across.

Never actually happened. Jeff posted about this in the thread about it.
