I hope the dealership doesn't give you a hard time about doing the recall work with a SC sitting on top of your engine.

Its red and has 66k miles on it and still has a warranty until 2022. Cant wait to have some fun with it! Im taking it into the dealership soon to get the recalls done.
Take it from someone who has been burned to a crisp - do not do the recall. If your car has lasted this long, it's completely going to be fine.
Also, if you get the recall done and your engine messes up after the recall work, that warranty will 100% not matter because it is supercharged.

Think McFly, think

EDIT:: Also, red is the best color but is as ugly as Tcoat Hakone unless you can post photos of the car

We personally know the mechanics doing the work, they dont mind it.

Even if the mechanics are your best friends, I still wouldn't have the recall done. If it's gone 66K miles without a valve problem then chances are real good that the valve springs are just fine.
If you have the recall done there is a real good chance that your engine will explode. And when it does, they're going to blame the SC.
But if you don't have the recall done and in the future the valve springs do fail, they are still liable to repair the damage. (replace the engine)

Unless, of course, they blame the supercharger....catch-22.

There is a chance, although I wouldn't say it's a "really good chance" the valve recall could cause an issue. Far more have been successful than not. Unfortunately we don't know a percentage, but the failures are relatively low and is completely avoidable with a little care and attention by the mechanic.

Would I have it done, probably not, on a car with 60K+ miles and a supercharger, because like you say, if it hasn't broken yet, it's not likely to.

Still the odds are the repair will be successful and there are other things that could be done at the same time for a reduced cost.
