You will also need the crimp tool.

In terms of DIY take a picture of factory connector and pins, start cutting one by one and crimp one wire at a time and insert into new connect. When done insert wire holder clip and test.

I'm not positive, but i think this is what you need. it's the same as the other one you linked to, but includes the female terminals

Have you tried asking the dealer how much the connector costs? Have you tried getting it under warranty?

Maybe the connector itself is not that expensive and it is a plug and play replacement?

Also, non-motor related stuff still has warranty and I have gotten work done from my dealer for non power train related stuff.

They dont sell just the port, they sell the whole harness which is almost 1000 bucks.
I can get it under warranty cuz my car wont start as the flash stopped midway and brick the ecu

You can also try junkers and cars being parted out. I know there is one here in Miami for example.

this happened to me. i just had to slightly bend the pins on the ECUtek cable so that they made better contact with the pins on the car side. been working right ever since. just finished flashing the Moto-East tune for my Innovate SC about 5 minutes ago. Now Pure Automotive is working on installing the SC itself. I wanted to get the flash out of the way just incase I ran into any issues with the flash, i didn't want it to be after they had installed everything.
